Who is Teral Atilan?
Teral Atilan is a Turkish Cypriot blogger born in London. She has a journalism degree which has helped her pave her way through the blogging industry.
Your favourite part of London?
It has to be Covent Garden. I worked in the area for six years, It’s such a beautiful place. In the summer I would always head to one of the terraces for food and drinks. The shopping is also really good.
You travel a lot, any advice for people like me who are nervous flyers?
I’m not a confident flyer but I’m also not a nervous flyer. I tend to not think about it really and try to get as much sleep as possible.
What other blogs do you read?
I read a mix of blogs from fashion to food to travel. I think my blog has evolved into all the things that I tend to enjoy reading already.
Your favourite fashion designer? Which designer or brand would you like to work with?
I could never pick on favourite designer, as each season is always so different. One season I can be obsessed with their collection and the next detest it. I would love to work with Dior or Givenchy.
Your work out routine and motivation?
I literally don’t do any exercise. Ever. I really should start. But I guess I do do a lot of walking around central London. Once I am around London, I tend to try walk if it’s a 15 minute walk from event to event.
How often do you get asked out on social media and in real life?
On social media not as much as I used to when I was a smaller account. The last time was two weeks ago someone asked to marry me. In real life, I’d say around twice a week.
How does a professional photographer get the best out of you?
I think it’s important to have a great relationship with a photgrapher, so someone who makes me feel comfortable, and someone who directs well. I hate when I work with a photographer and they just shoot. I need someone to guide me in terms of move a little to the left, put your chin down etc.
Your favourite Bond and favourite Bond girl?
A cross between Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan as he was the Bond I grew up with. Denise Richards, she was just so beautiful.
Your advice to aspiring models and bloggers?
Don’t let your fears stop you from doing what you love. Just start and work super hard.
